Breaking: Multiple Casualties As a US Plane Crash Following Herbert Wigwe’s Recent Incident

Authorities in Nashville, Tennessee, reported that a single-engine aircraft crashed along an interstate highway on Monday, killing a number of passengers on board.

According to Metro Nashville Police Department spokesman, Don Aaron, “The pilot made an emergency call to John C. The aircraft fell in a grassy median behind a Costco on the west side of the city, not far from Interstate 40,and it instantly caught fire it. The crash occurred about 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) to the south of the general aviation airport.

“It appears that everyone on board perished, the exact number of victims was not immediately known,” said Aaron.

According to Kendra Loney, a spokesman for the Nashville Fire Department, no drivers got injured on the freeway. No vehicles or ground-level buildings were harmed, according to the authorities.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will carry out an investigation.

This incident occurred around four weeks following the accident of the helicopter carrying Herbert Wigwe, the late Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Access Holdings Plc, along with his spouse and other passengers.

Before it crashed, the aircraft was spotted by multiple witnesses in cars, who described it as a “fireball.”

Remember that on February 9, an Airbus Helicopters EC 130B4 with registration number N130CZ crashed near Halloran Springs, California, killing all six occupants, including the pilot and co-pilot, including Wigwe, his wife, son, and former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

“I am deeply saddened by your demise but God knows best. You will be greatly missed and your good deeds will continue to linger in our hearts.

“Ah Egbin Orun. Good night! Keep resting in the bosom of Christ. Ah Gone too soon..Yeeee.”

Her cause of death is still unknown as of the time this report was originally published, and no formal statement has been released.

FCT NSCDC Captured 111 Suspects in 3 Months

NSCDC Saves 10 Suspected Human Trafficking Victims in Abuja

Between January and March, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, or NSCDC, FCT Command, detained 111 people they suspected to be criminals.

In an interview with reporters on Sunday in Abuja, the Commandant, Olusola Odumosu, stated as much. He added that 102 suspects had been detained for illegal mining, while nine suspects had been detained for damaging public property.

He claimed that when the suspects were arraigned in court, some had already been found guilty and others were either being held on bond or were the subject of more investigation.

Odumosu added that the court had cleared and released one of the suspects.

The commandant listed the suspects in order of appearance in court: Munkalu Yakubu and forty-one other people are accused of mining gold illegally in Dai village, Kwali Area Council.

“There is also an alleged case of illegal mining of gold against one Ibrahim Talasne and 52 others as well as an alleged case of illegal mining of precious stones by one Saidu Ismail and six others who were arrested at CITEC area in Idu,” he said.

He added that the command also arrested some suspects for vandalizing public infrastructure.

“One Yakubu Mati was arrested while vandalising railway line armored cable at a metro railway station in Idu.

“Similarly, Anthong Batoulumen and three others were arrested for vandalising armored cable at Mabushi.

“Obadiah Ezekiel was also arrested for vandalizing a shop at Games Village while Wodi Sunday, Habib Mohammed, and Jibirin Idris were arrested for vandalising telecommunication assets and theft,” he added.

According to Odumosu, among the items taken from the suspects were gold substance, an abandoned telecommunication pole, a pumping equipment, armored wires, and liters of petrol.

He said that seven people had been taken into custody by the command’s intelligence unit for allegedly manufacturing illicit firearms.

The commandant issued a warning against damaging vital national infrastructure and assets, threatening to bring the full force of the law down on anyone found out.

He gave his word that civil defense workers would step up their efforts to make the FCT extremely difficult for criminals to enter and safe.

Odumosu consequently urged locals to be aware of their surroundings for security risks and to notify law enforcement of any suspicious activity.
