Nigerian Star Burna Boy Losses All Six Awards at the 2024 NAACP Image Awards

The Nigerian artist Burna Boy lost six nominations at the 2024 NAACP Image Awards, continuing his dismal performance at award shows.

Usher defeated the self-proclaimed “African Giant” in the Outstanding Male Artist of the Year competition. His song “City Boys” was defeated by his fellow citizen Tems’ “Me & U” for the Outstanding International Song award.

Burna Boy’s “Sittin’ On Top Of The World,” starring 21 Savage, lost to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Cobra” in the Outstanding Hip-hop/Rap Song category. Chris Brown’s “Sensational,” with Davido and Lojay, won Best Duo/Group Collaboration (Contemporary).

The Victoria Monét album “Jaguar II” defeated his album “I Told Them…” for the Outstanding Album of the Year award.

Burna Boy was not selected for seven BET Hip-Hop Awards in 2023, four Grammy nominations in 2024, and one Brit Award nomination in 2024.

On the second night of the 55th Image Awards, Chris Brown’s “Sensational,” which already won the Best Duo/Group Collaboration (Contemporary) on the first night, took home the Outstanding Visual Album/Song honor.

David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, a Nigerian afrobeats singer, has made indications that he may be giving up music.

After his next record, the “Kante” crooner announced that he was quitting music.

Davido made this revelation on Thursday night in response to the recent photos and videos that certain bloggers had doctored against him.

He indicated that there are people who really want him out of the music business.

“Yall niggas really want me out the game that bad ?? Oya after next album I no do again . So una fit get peace,” he wrote on his X handle.

My husband gave me the idea for ‘Men Are Crazy’ – Simi

The controversial song “Men Are Crazy,” which has been sung by popular singer Simisola Kosoko, often known as Simi, was inspired by her husband, Adekunle Gold, according to her revelation.

According to reports, there were differing opinions on Simi’s most recent song, “Men Are Crazy,” which featured Tiwa Savage. A lot of male social media users criticized the singers for the song’s belittling tone.

Simi claimed that the song’s concept originated with her husband, singer Adekunle Gold, during an appearance on Angela Yee’s podcast, “Way Up.”

She declared, “My husband gave me the idea for my song, ‘Men Are Crazy’. He was like, ‘Babe, how about we do a song and you say men are crazy but I still want one in my bed?’

“I was like, ‘Oh yeah, no one is going to see that coming from me. So I made that song. I had actually finished the song, I did two verses but I felt something was missing.

It just hit me and I was like, ‘I will love to have Tiwa on the song.’ We [our music] don’t generally go in the same direction but I was like, it would be so nice to find that balance and do something that would bring our synergies together. So I sent it to Tiwa and she did her verse and we shot the video together.”

Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, well known as Skales, has disclosed that he has had intimate relationships with more than a hundred women.

This was revealed by the “Don’t Say Much ” crooner on a recent Drip Check show.

He said, “I feel like I’ve been a dad all my life. I’ve been taking care of women all my life [laughs]. “I have dated over 100 women.”

Skales claimed that because he was naïve and careless, he was a toxic lover to almost every one of the women he dated in his early career.

“I did a lot of childish things. What do you expect from a teenager who is famous and has access to everything, including women?
