This comes after online reports claimed that President Ramaphosa snubbed President Tinubu and his delegation. However, the Nigerian President’s post, which included photos and details of their meeting, suggests a cordial relationship between the two leaders.

The President subtly dispelled the rumors by sharing photos and details of his meeting with President Ramaphosa, showcasing their cordial interaction. The images depicted the two leaders smiling and engaging in conversation, appearing relaxed and comfortable in each other’s presence, thereby contradicting the speculation about a rift between them.

.President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa took oath for a new term on June 19th in Pretoria, joined by numerous African leaders, including Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The inauguration ceremony, attended by at least 18 heads of state and government from across Africa, featured a 21-gun salute and an Air Force fly-past.

Ramaphosa’s re-election came after a closely contested general election on May 29, with congratulations pouring in from global leaders like US President Joe Biden, Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
